"Honey" is OLDBOY's first venture into house music. A hip hop producer for 9 years, OLDBOY began dipping his toes into dancier sounds in the summer of 2022. This 5-track rainbow spectrum of sound is the result of passing a beam of dance music through the OLDBOY prism. Four-on-the-floor kick patterns take the place of 90's Boom Bap breaks over his signature sample chops and coalesce into a sound that labelmate and producer Lacy describes as "Animal Crossing but you're going 95 in a 35."

Track 2, "Dark Cat," is a collaboration between OLDBOY and Less Than Family co-founder, geethanksmister. These two have an extensive working history, including their collaborative album "Neighbors," created when the two lived on the same block in 2018. Their understanding of each other's style is evident on this track. The pumping, vibrato lead over the groovy shakers and claps are a combination guaranteed to tickle your "oontz-oontz" bone.
